November 1995
TX101 -- TX101 produced two kittens that were marked in October. She has maintained normal behavior around the den throughout November, usually staying within a two mile radius of the den site that is located on the big Cypress Seminole Indian Reservation.

TX102 -- This female was road-killed between 20-21 September 1995 in Hendry County.

TX103 -- TX103 has remained within a two-square mile area on the west side Monroe Station in Big Cypress National Preserve. This area has dense melaleuca that currently is being removed by a contractor.

TX104 -- TX104 stayed in the Belle Meade area west of the Picayune Strand State Forest for the first couple weeks of the month. She then traveled to the Fakahatchee Strand State Preserve in an area south of the release pen where she has been before. She was located with female Florida panther #9 on two occasions in this area. On the last flight of the month she was located in the Picayune Strand State Forest.

TX105 -- TX105 continued to use the pinelands and hardwood hammocks mostly north of the Beard Center on Long Pine Key in Everglades National Park. She was located with male panther #16 at the beginning of November and again toward the end of the month (1 November and 27 November). Panther #16 continued to use the same areas as TX105 and TX108.

TX106 -- TX106 began restricting her movements in the middle of the Picayune Strand State Forest, a pattern suggestive of denning. This will be investigated in the next couple of weeks.

TX107 --TX107 was located with panther #23 on one flight in early November. She remained in the Calusa Ranch area after panther #23 left and was again located with her in Raccoon Point on two flights. Both were in Raccoon Point at the end of the month.

TX108 -- TX108 continued to use the pinelands and hammocks of Long Pine Key in Everglades National Park. TX105 and TX108 roam the same pinelands and hammocks as male panther #16. TX108 continued to use more frequently the thick strands of Brazilian Pepper in the "Hole-in-the-Donut area than TX105 or panther #16.
